The Arewa Consultative Forum’s (ACF) Board of Trustees Chairman, Bashir Dalhatu, has conveyed his deepest condolences to the family, the ACF, the Fika Emirate, and the entire nation on the passing of former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Adamu Fika.
Mr. Dalhatu, who holds the esteemed position of Wazirin Dutse, expressed that the nation is mourning the loss of a distinguished statesman with the passing of Wazirin Fika.
He further emphasized that Mr. Fika was widely respected for his wisdom, integrity, and unwavering commitment to serving the Nigerian people.
“As the former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the ACF, he played a vital role in fostering unity and progress in the northern region. His legacy of selflessness will continue to inspire countless individuals,” Mr. Dalhatu said.
“During his tenure as Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Malam Adamu Fika exhibited exceptional leadership qualities and made significant contributions to Nigeria’s growth and development. His wealth of knowledge and experience were instrumental in shaping the nation’s path towards prosperity.
“The passing of such an esteemed statesman is an immense loss, not only for his family and the ACF but also for the Fika Emirate and Nigeria as a whole. His absence leaves a void that will be difficult to fill. His remarkable contributions to the nation will forever be cherished, and his memory will serve as a beacon of inspiration for future generations,” he continued.
Mr. Dalhatu implored everyone to stand in solidarity with the late elder statesman’s family during this time of grieving.
He beseeched Allah to grant the late statesman eternal rest and reward his good deeds abundantly. He also prayed for strength for the family and loved ones to cope with this profound loss.
“The ACF and its members extend heartfelt sympathies to the family of Malam Adamu Fika. We stand together, mourning alongside the grieving family. I call upon the Fika Emirate, Yobe State, and the whole nation to commemorate the significant contributions of Malam Adamu Fika to the socio-economic and political development of Nigeria. Let us honor his memory by upholding the values he dedicatedly stood for and by building upon the foundations he laid,” he conveyed.
“May Allah grant Malam Adamu Fika Jannatul Firdaus and grant us the strength to carry forward his legacy,” he concluded.
