In a horrific incident that took place in the early hours of Sunday, bandits mercilessly killed the only teacher in Unguwan Dorowa Bakhira settlement, located in the Maro community of Kajuru Local Government Area in Kaduna State.
Adding to the heartbreaking tragedy, a couple fell victim to the ruthless attack unleashed by these criminals.
The primary school teacher, who tragically lost his life, has been identified as Mr Sunday Akor, an indigene of Benue State.
Maigari Ben, a respected community leader, confirmed the devastating incident and shared that no individuals were kidnapped during the terrifying assault.
He expressed, “They callously murdered both a man and his wife, in addition to the primary school teacher, Mr Sunday Akor, who hailed from Benue State. Regrettably, he was the solitary classroom instructor in the primary school situated within our village. I must emphasize that no one was taken hostage during this heinous act.”
Despite attempts to seek a statement from ASP Mansir Hassan, the State Police Command Public Relations Officer, our efforts were unsuccessful as his response remained unattainable at the time of this report.
