Ministers, Presidential Aides To Begin 3-Day Retreat

The Nigerian government has announced a three-day retreat for ministers and all cabinet members of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, made this known on Monday while addressing State House correspondents at the end of the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

Idris also disclosed that the retreat, which will begin on November 1st, will also include special advisers and top aides to the president.

Recall that the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, said on August 28th that President Tinubu will not permit any failure of any of the ministers.

He added that President Tinubu is not scared to sack any minister who is not effective.

Ngelale also made known that President Tinubu had established benchmarks for each of the sectors of Nigeria’s economy since his emergence as president in February 2023.

President Tinubu had on August 21st inaugurated 45 Ministers and added three more on October 16th.
