President Tinubu Mourns Foremost Lawyer, Ben Nwabueze

President Bola Tinubu has described the death of Nigeria’s foremost constitutional lawyer as a profound loss, saying that Professor Nwabueze’s knowledge of the law was exceptional.

He also extended his condolences to the Nwabueze family, as well as the government and people of Anambra State.

President Tinubu lauded Professor Nwabueze’s exceptional legal expertise and mourned his demise.

In a statement signed by the president’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, on Monday, President Tinubu described the death of the legal icon as a great loss, saying that Nwabueze’s contribution to the precedents and principles of the nation’s constitution is notable.

“His involvement in the drafting of the 1979 Constitution is a legacy that stands him out, as are his outstanding contributions to the legal profession at large,” the President says.

The President condoled with his family, the people of Anambra State, and Nigerians in general to take solace in the worthy legacy that the deceased left behind.
