The governor made these remarks on Tuesday during the Yewa Division Town Hall meeting, which served as a platform to discuss the 2024–2026 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and the 2024 Appropriation Bill. The meeting, held in Ilaro, the capital of the senatorial district, was attended by government officials, stakeholders, and representatives from the community.

Represented at the event by his Deputy, Engr. Recognizing the significance of the district, he acknowledged that Ogun State is the industrial capital of Nigeria, with Ogun West boasting the highest concentration of factories and industrial hubs in the country. Additionally, it is home to some of the largest industrial estates in sub-Saharan Africa.

Reinforcing his commitment to industrial growth and economic development, Governor Abiodun stressed that his government is focused on attracting new industries while ensuring the sustainability of existing ones.
