The Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Solomon Arase, has hailed the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, on his confirmation as the substantive Inspector General of Police. Arase emphasized that Egbetokun’s leadership, integrity, and vision for the Force have earned him the trust and confidence of Nigerians in his ability to de-escalate and contain the insecurity challenges in Nigeria.

In a statement issued by Ikechukwu Ani, the Head of Press and Public Relations of the Police Service Commission, Arase congratulated Egbetokun for his unwavering commitment and high sense of responsibility since his appointment by the President on the 19th of June, 2023.
