Whether by drawing inspiration from the King’s Cross regeneration project to transform Nairobi into a railway city, or learning from Kenya’s expertise in harnessing the potential of the Blue Economy for local communities, all of you present here tonight, as well as our counterparts across our nations, deserve our gratitude for your unwavering dedication towards realizing our shared ambitions.”
President Ruto expressed his delight in hosting their majesties on their inaugural state visit since their coronation. He remarked, “We hope to showcase the renowned Kenyan hospitality, the spirit of enterprise and innovation exhibited by the Kenyan people, as well as the breathtaking beauty and charm of our country. It is our aspiration to surpass your expectations and uphold the reputation of Magical Kenya.”
Currently, there are approximately 100 British investment firms operating in Kenya, with a cumulative value of over £2.0 billion. The speeches delivered during the banquet highlighted the mutual goals and aspirations of both nations, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie and respect.
