Nigerian Delight: Moses Simon Crowned Nantes Player of the Month in Ligue 1

In a remarkable achievement, Moses Simon has been crowned as the Player of the Month for Nantes in the prestigious Ligue 1, according to a report by Media Talk Africa.

During the month of October, Simon showcased his exceptional skills and passion on the field, making a total of four appearances for Nantes. In addition, he showcased his remarkable team spirit by providing a crucial assist.

The Nigerian international stood out from his peers by securing an impressive 39.67% of the votes, winning over three other talented players to claim this esteemed award.

The runner-ups for this accolade were Florent Mollet, who secured 28.6% of the votes, Pedro Chirivella, who garnered 20.75% of the votes, and Marcus Coco, who obtained 10.98% of the votes.

With two spectacular goals and four brilliant assists in just 10 league appearances for the Canaries this season, Simon has clearly proven to be an indispensable player on the team.

It comes as no surprise that Simon is expected to play a crucial role in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe, as he is predicted to be included in the esteemed Super Eagles squad.
