NSIB Begins Investigation As Jet Crash-Lands In Ibadan

The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau, NSIB, has commenced investigation into the cause of the accident of a private jet which occured at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport Ibadan Southwest Nigeria.

The private jet operated by Flint Aero crash-landed on Friday night at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport.

In a statement issued by the Public Affairs and Consumer Protection Director of the Agency, Mr James Odaudu said that “their investigators are on site, and further information will be provided as soon as possible.”

The aircraft had departed Abuja for Ibadan as its destination, but it landed about 50 metres short of the threshold and skidded into a ditch close to the runway.
