Otti Inaugurates Three Additional Roads in Aba, Boosting the State’s Infrastructure Development

The Abia State government, under the leadership of Governor Alex Otti, has successfully reconstructed and inaugurated three major roads in Aba, further enhancing the state’s infrastructural landscape.

The recently commissioned roads, namely MCC by Old Express Road, Umuimo Road, and Udeagbala Road, have been strategically selected to alleviate traffic congestion in Aba, with Udeagbala Road serving as a convenient bypass through the Abia State University Teaching Hospital.

During his speech at the commissioning ceremony, Governor Otti emphasized the crucial role these road projects play in reviving the state’s economy. He reiterated his administration’s firm commitment to delivering robust and durable infrastructure to the people of Abia State.

Highlighting the significance of careful selection, Governor Alex Otti expressed his concern over previous road projects in Aba being awarded to inexperienced construction companies. Consequently, for the completion of these three roads, the Otti administration ensured the engagement of reputable civil engineering firms with proven track records.

The construction and inauguration of these roads align closely with Governor Otti’s campaign promises to both the residents and potential investors in Aba. The governor gave his assurance that no part of Abia State would be neglected in the current road construction and rehabilitation program.

Furthermore, Governor Otti, whose ultimate accountability lies with the people and God, vowed to continue prioritizing infrastructure development in Aba. In his commitment to transforming the Enyimba city, the governor announced plans for further road construction projects.

However, Governor Otti also emphasized the importance of the residents’ active participation in the state’s development. He urged the people of Aba to fulfill their civic duty by promptly paying their taxes, as this would provide the necessary funds for the construction of more structures and the maintenance of existing ones.
