Military operation is selfless service to humanity – CDS Musa

Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Christopher Musa, says navy service is a selfless service to humanity and should statutorily help civil authorities.

General Musa known as on Commanders and troops of the Nigerian Army (NA) to not let the nation down within the ongoing efforts to quell rising safety challenges throughout the nation in accordance to an announcement by the Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu.

The Defence Chief gave the cost after he was briefed on operational engagements of troops in varied theatres of operations within the nation, on the Army Headquarters Operations Centre, throughout a go to to the Army Headquarters on Monday 6 November 2023.

After receiving a complete operations temporary, General Musa recommended the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, Principal Staff Officers, Field Commanders and troops for his or her dedication and sacrifice.

The CDS admonished Commanders in any respect ranges to be centered, dedicated {and professional} in steering the affairs of their varied instructions to expedite the restoration of peace and stability within the nation.

He charged the troops to help the lead company within the forthcoming elections and strictly adhere to the codes of conduct guiding troops’ roles throughout polls.
