Guinness World Record: Hilda Baci reacts as Irish chef breaks her record

Nigerian superstar chef Hilda Bassey has reacted as an Irish chef based mostly in Japan, Alan Fisher, broke two Guinness World Records for the longest cooking marathon by a person.

Media Talk Africa had reported that Alan Fisher, an Irish restaurant proprietor and chef based mostly in Japan, on Monday broke two Guinness World Records referring to cooking marathons.

Fisher cooked repeatedly for 119 hours 57 minutes, surpassing the earlier record of 93 hours 11 minutes set by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci earlier this 12 months.

He additionally broke the record for the longest baking marathon, baking for 47 hours and 21 minutes, beating the prior record of 31 hours and 16 minutes.

Reacting, Hilda Baci, on her X web page, congratulated him.

She wrote, ”Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57mins is a big achievement, and I want him all one of the best as the brand new world record holder.”
