Borno govt releases N500m for fees of 19 medical, 93 nursing students

Borno State Government has accepted the discharge of over N500 million for cost of registration fees for 19 medical students and 93 nursing students.

The Executive Secretary of the Borno State Scholarship Board, (*19*) Bala Isa, made this identified on Tuesday whereas saying the event in Maiduguri.

Isa mentioned that the 19 indigent medical students are finding out at Suez University of Egypt, whereas the 93 nursing students are within the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, UMTH, Nursing School.

The govt secretary mentioned that the gesture was half of Governor Babagana Zulum administration’s dedication to the state’s 25-year growth plan and the 10-year strategic transformation initiative.

He mentioned Zulum is dedicated to sponsoring the students all through the length of their research.

The scholarship board boss mentioned the governor had urged the students to be hardworking and to face their research severely to justify the federal government’s effort towards sponsoring their training.
