President Tinubu appoints 3 commissioners for NUPRC, redeploys 1

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday authorised the appointment of three new Executive (*3*) on the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission pending their affirmation by the Senate.

They are Bashir Indabawa (Northwest), government commissioner, Exploration and Acreage Management; Enorense Amadasun (South-South); government commissioner, Development and Production and Babajide Fasina (Southwest), government commissioner, Economic Regulation and Strategic Planning.

The president additionally authorised the redeployment of Kelechi Ofoegbu (Southeast), government commissioner, Corporate Services and Administration.

Special adviser to the president on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, made the disclosure in a press release he issued on Tuesday in Abuja.

Mr Ngelale defined that the step geared toward establishing a regulatory framework and tradition that comprehensively disincentives errant behaviour and incentivises diligence and rules-based enterprise observe throughout the business.
