– Installs air high quality monitor over 10 locations
ADDIS ABABA – A brand new automobile emission management regulation has been drafted to observe air high quality and sort out air air pollution within the metropolis, the Addis Ababa Environmental Protection Authority stated.
The authority in collaboration with C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group has been providing consciousness creation coaching for air high quality and communication consultants that have been drawn from numerous international locations.
Speaking on the event, Addis Ababa Environmental Protection Authority Executive Director Dida Dirriba acknowledged that numerous measures can be taken to scale back automobile emissions, enhance public transport, and improve inexperienced local weather. These initiatives are instrumental to observe air high quality and alleviate air air pollution within the metropolis.
Reference-grade air high quality displays have been put in at greater than 10 locations within the capital.
