Darlyn Morais, a beloved Brazilian vocalist, tragically passed away after suffering from severe complications stemming from a spider bite.
The fatal incident occurred on October 31st, at Morais’ residence in the northeastern city of Miranorte.
In a distressing turn of events, Morais’ 18-year-old stepdaughter also fell victim to a spider bite and is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital.
Providing an update on her daughter’s condition, Morais’ grieving wife, Jhullyenny Lisboa, revealed to Brazilian news outlet, G1, that the young woman is in a stable state.
According to Lisboa, Morais began exhibiting symptoms of exhaustion and observed a discoloration in the bruise on his face following the spider bite.
“He experienced a profound sense of weakness and noticed the darkening of his facial skin on the same day,” Lisboa recounted.
She further disclosed, “Morais subsequently developed allergic reactions in the following days and sought medical attention at a hospital in Miranorte. After receiving treatment, he was discharged on Friday.”
