The Benue State Government has reiterated its unwavering commitment to providing continuous backing for the Nigeria Premier Football League club, Lobi Stars.
Speaking after Lobi Stars’ triumphant away fixture in Yenagoa, the state’s Commissioner for Youth, Sports, and Creativity, Mr. Terkimbi Ikyange, affirmed the government’s pledge of ongoing support for the club.
Mr. Ikyange lauded the resolute determination and dedication exhibited by the club throughout the NPFL campaign, emphasizing the pivotal role of the state government in bolstering the team’s performance on the NPFL leaderboard.
With Lobi Stars currently holding the top position in the standings, securing 13 points from seven games, the Pride of Benue is poised to clash with Sporting Lagos at the Lafia City Stadium during matchday eight.
