Junior Lokosa, the forward for Sporting Lagos, is optimistic about the club’s potential to thrive in the Nigeria Premier Football League, stating that the team possesses the necessary talent to navigate the league’s challenges.
Marking their debut in the top flight, the modest side has shown promise with three wins, two draws, and two defeats from seven games this season.
Lokosa expressed confidence in the team’s prospects, emphasizing that the return of injured players will bolster their competitiveness.
Speaking in Lagos, Lokosa stated, “We have a couple of players that can help us go far and challenge in the league. All our injured players are coming back, and it’s a very good one for us. This is a tough league, but we have the quality to do well and compete with the best teams.”
Under the guidance of Paul Offor, Sporting Lagos currently holds the seventh position in the league table, gearing up to face Lobi Stars in a matchday eight fixture at the Lafia City Stadium this weekend.
