The Governor expressed deep sorrow over the incident, emphasizing the urgent need for parents and stakeholders to heighten their supervision of young people both at home and in educational settings. He highlighted the incident as a distressing indication of societal deterioration.

In a press release presented by his Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communications, Emmanuel Bello, the Governor referred to the incident as a wake-up call for intensified vigilance and responsibility among parents and stakeholders. The Governor advocated for a comprehensive investigation into the root causes of the incident.
