Kogi Local Government Chairman Passes Away a Few Hours Before Election

The entire community was enveloped in grief as the news of the passing of Hon. Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed, the Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Council, spread like wildfire.

Reports from Daily Trust unveiled that the late chairman breathed his last around 4:30 am at a hospital in Lokoja. He was rushed to the hospital after collapsing at his residence.

Sympathizers flocked to his family house in the cantonment areas of Lokoja on the fateful Friday morning to extend their condolences to the bereaved family, a poignant testament to the impact he had on the community.

It was revealed that the late chairman had been actively involved in a series of political meetings in preparation for Saturday’s gubernatorial election.

“Doctors pronounced him clinically deceased around 4:30 am on Friday,” disclosed a family member who chose to remain anonymous, underlining the suddenness and gravity of the loss.

The departed leaves behind his mother, wife, and children, leaving a void in both his family and the local government he served.
