Ogunbote’s Confidence High for Clash with Kwara United in Ilorin

Shooting Stars head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, exudes confidence as he prepares his side for today’s game, with the primary objective of securing a positive result.

The Oluyole Warriors enter the game on a high note, riding the wave of a resounding 4-1 victory over Niger Tornadoes in the last weekend.

On the other hand, Kwara United suffered a 1-0 defeat to Enyimba in their previous Nigeria Premier Football League outing and will be eager to return to the winning ways.

Shooting Stars had clinched a 1-0 away victory against Kwara United in the previous season, a feat that bolsters Ogunbote’s belief in securing another positive result in Ilorin.

Ogunbote expressed, “It’s a different ball game, and as I always say, predicting the game can be challenging. However, we are committed to representing the club to the best of our abilities. With fair officiating, we are optimistic about achieving a positive outcome,” fondly referred to as “the Oracle,” as disclosed on the club’s official website.

At present, Shooting Stars hold the third spot on the NPFL table, having garnered 13 points from seven games, while Kwara United, positioned in the lower half of the table, has collected eight points from the same number of games.
