During Arsenal’s recent Premier League triumph over Burnley, head coach Mikel Arteta took the time to praise Leandro Trossard for his outstanding contribution to the team.
Arteta commended Trossard, acknowledging his ability to connect with his teammates and lauding the forward for his intelligence on the pitch.
The Belgian footballer delivered an impressive performance at the Emirates Stadium, showcasing his skills by securing a goal in Arsenal’s 3-1 victory against Vincent Kompany’s side.
Expressing his thoughts on Trossard’s performance, Arteta stated during his post-match press conference, “That is the word – I think he connects everybody. He’s so intelligent.”
“I think he moves in ways that attract people, generating spaces and offering options for his teammates,” Arteta continued.
“Today, he executed that exceptionally well in challenging circumstances, where the attacking spaces were quite restricted. Trossard posed a significant threat and provided us with numerous opportunities to link up and find openings.”
