Bayelsa governorship election: Live Results from LGA Collation Centres

Results of the governorship election in Bayelsa State are currently being collated at local government levels.

Media Talk Africa reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had fixed Saturday, November 11, 2023, for the off-cycle governorship elections in Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi States.

The Peoples Democratic Party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Labour Party, LP, are the main contenders in the Bayelsa State governorship election.

The election ended on Saturday and INEC officials counted and announced the results at polling units.

Media Talk Africa gathered that the election in Bayelsa State was largely peaceful.
