Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, lauds President Bola Tinubu for ensuring fairness during the recent gubernatorial polls in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi states.
Amid congratulating Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State on his well-deserved reelection, Sanwo-Olu expressed his admiration for the level playing field established by Tinubu.
According to a congratulatory statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu emphasized that Uzodinma’s triumph underscores the preference for the All Progressives Congress (APC) by Nigerians.
“Uzodinma’s victory is a testament to the populace’s endorsement of his administration, having positively impacted the lives of citizens during his first term in office,” stated Sanwo-Olu.
He added, “The success in the election solidifies APC’s standing as the preferred party for Nigerians. The party remains committed to serving the best interests of Nigerians in alignment with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.”
“The President deserves commendation for advancing democracy and the electoral process in Nigeria, evidenced by the accomplishments in the Imo governorship election and gubernatorial polls in Kogi and Bayelsa states,” Sanwo-Olu further noted.
