Actress Wumi Toriola Open to Being a Second Wife, Reveals Change of Mindset

Nigerian actress, Wumi Toriola, recently disclosed her openness to the possibility of becoming a second wife.

The single mother of one expressed her willingness to embrace the role of a second wife, emphasizing that her priority is her own happiness.

Toriola, in an interview with media personality, Debbie Shokoya, conveyed a shift in her perspective regarding the concept of being a second or third wife. She stated, “I used to have the mindset that I can’t be a second or third wife but that has changed because I’m after-one now. If I see an after-one like me too or a widower, I will marry him. What matters is my happiness.”

She further highlighted that the assumption that female celebrities are exclusively attracted to wealthy men is a misconception, as many men do not approach them due to this belief. Toriola debunked this stereotype by emphasizing that most actresses have earned their wealth through their own efforts, rather than solely relying on affluent men for their luxurious lifestyles.

This revelation comes after Toriola’s marriage, which commenced in 2018 and led to the birth of her first child the following year, unfortunately, came to an end in 2023, as announced on her Instagram page.
