Nigerian Army Issues Warning on Fraudulent Recruitment Claims for Direct Short Service Course

The Nigerian Army has issued a public alert regarding the purported commencement of the Direct Short Service course recruitment. It has emphatically stated that the online ‘Nigerian Army Direct Short Service (DSS) Recruitment Portal for 2023’ is spurious and cautioned citizens to avoid falling prey to fraudulent individuals.

In an official statement released by the Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, in Abuja on Tuesday, it was revealed that the deceptive website was concocted by unscrupulous individuals with the intent to deceive and defraud the public. Consequently, Nigerians, especially prospective applicants, have been advised to steer clear of it.

The statement further disclosed that the Nigerian Army has already instituted measures to apprehend those responsible for the deceptive portal. Brigadier General Nwachukwu urged members of the public to promptly report any suspicious recruitment portals or activities to the Nigerian Army.

Furthermore, the Nigerian Army reasserted its unwavering commitment to ensuring a transparent and credible recruitment process through its officially established communication channels.
