NDLEA Chairman Lauds Nigerian Troops for Patriotism and Sacrifice

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Buba Marwa, has expressed his admiration for the Theatre Commander Joint Task Force (JTF) North East (NE) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), Maj Gen GU Chibuisi and the troops of OPHK for their unwavering patriotism, exceptional professionalism, gallantry, and selfless sacrifice to the nation.

Marwa conveyed his commendation during his recent visit to the Headquarters Theatre Command OPHK Maimalari Cantonment Maiduguri.

His visit to the Theatre Command aimed at fostering enhanced collaboration and soliciting the support of the military in the campaign against illicit drug use and trafficking, as well as in obstructing insurgents’ access to drugs.

The NDLEA boss emphasized the importance of joint efforts with the military to eradicate this menace in Nigeria.

He also affirmed the NDLEA’s preparedness to educate the troops about the perils of illicit drugs and advocated for regular drug testing for the troops.

Furthermore, Marwa lauded the troops for their relentless dedication and unwavering commitment to their responsibilities.

The Board of NDLEA represents the highest governing body, setting the Organization’s strategic objectives and providing oversight to ensure their achievement.
