Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Attends Guinea-Bissau’s 50th Independence Day Anniversary Celebration

Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has made an official visit to Guinea-Bissau to partake in the country’s 50th Independence Day Anniversary and Armed Forces Day commemoration. The Nigerian leader, in the company of other Heads of State and Government, will join President Umaro Sissoco Embalo in Bissau for the ceremony scheduled for Thursday, November 16, 2023.

Although Guinea-Bissau actually marked its 50th Independence Anniversary on September 24, 2023, all ceremonies were rescheduled for November 16, 2023. President Tinubu is anticipated to return to Nigeria on the same day.
