Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
The Nigerian number two citizen is in his home state of Borno to attend the famous University of Maiduguri’s 24th convocation ceremony scheduled to hold on Saturday, 18 November, 2023.
He will later spend private time with family members and well wishers.
The plane conveying the Vice President touched down at the Nigeria Air Force Base, Maiduguri, on Friday at 18:15 GMT, where he was received by the Borno State Deputy Governor Umar Kadafur.
After a brief ceremony at the airport, the Vice President was driven to his private residence in Maiduguri.
