Nigeria’s under-20 women’s national team, the Falconets, displayed an exceptional performance as they secured a spot in the fourth round of the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers by defeating Tanzania 2-1 in a thrilling encounter in Abuja on Sunday.

Under the leadership of Chris Danjuma, the team triumphed with a 3-2 aggregate score, having battled to a 1-1 draw in the first leg just a week prior.
