The Adamawa State House of Assembly has given the green light to the appointment of administrators for the 50 newly established development areas in the state.
These development areas, which stem from the 21 local government areas stipulated by the Nigerian Constitution, mark a significant stride in the state’s governance and development framework.
The newly confirmed administrators, who will spearhead the grassroots initiatives, are:
- Malena Manasseh (Borrong)
- Joshua Magani (Bidoma)
- Abdulazeez Baba (Gurin)
- Mahmud A. Mamman (Malabu)
- Abubakar Liman (Daware)
- Amoris Haziel (Yadim)
- Japhet Yerima (Mayo-Ine)
- Stephen Emmanuel Jangari (Ganye East)
- Hammadu Lawan (Vunoklang)
- Felix S. Gaude (Jera Bakari)
And several others, each committed to propelling the community’s growth and development.
The decision to confirm these new administrators took place following a letter from Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, which was presented during the Monday plenary by the Speaker, Bathiya Wesley.
As the members gathered, Ahmed Jingi Belel, the representative of Maiha Constituency and Deputy Majority Leader, initiated a motion for approval, receiving resounding support when seconded by Haruna Jilantikiri.
