The Senate has approved the 2022-2026 Medium Term Expenditure Framework, MTEF, and Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP) of President Bola Tinubu.

This followed the adoption of the report of its Joint Committee on Finance, Appropriation, National Planning, Local and Foreign Debts at plenary on Wednesday.

Presenting the report, Sani Musa the committee’s Chairman said that the committee recommended that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited, NNPCL, should work toward reducing its operational costs to reduce wastage.
