North East governors arrive Yola for regional meeting

Governors of North East states have arrived in Adamawa for their routine regional meeting.

Governors of the six states, under the auspices of the North East Governors Forum, regularly gather in alternating states for their regional meetings.

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State welcomed his counterparts on Friday evening for the 9th edition of the regional meeting scheduled for Saturday, November 25, in Yola.

Among the governors who have arrived for the meeting are the chairman of the North East Governors Forum, Gov Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno. Others include Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Agbu Kefas of Taraba and Mai Mala Buni of Yobe.

Gov Fintiri was about to host his counterparts to a gala dinner at 9 pm when this story was filed.
