The father of the late singer, Mohbad, Joseph Aloba, has reached out to the public, seeking financial assistance to conduct a DNA test to confirm the paternity of his grandson, Liam.

During an interview with renowned Ibadan-based broadcaster Oriyomi Hamzat, Aloba made a heartfelt plea, urging Nigerians to stand by him in his quest for justice for his son.

Expressing the necessity of conducting the test at two different medical facilities, Aloba emphasized his refusal to accept his grandson, Liam, if he is proven to belong to another man.

When questioned about the support he seeks from Nigerians, Aloba responded, “I implore Nigerians who are championing justice for Mohbad not to lose momentum. Please, support me because I cannot do this alone.”

He continued, “They should help me unravel the circumstances surrounding my son’s demise. Additionally, I urge for the DNA test on his son to be conducted as I am unwilling to embrace an illegitimate child.

“I am in dire need of assistance. As a father, I bear the responsibility of arranging funds for the DNA test, and I desire the tests to be carried out at two distinct locations. I have already consulted my legal representative.”
