Doma United vs Remo Stars: Onigbinde commends heroic goalkeeper Osayi

Doma United head coach Akinade Onigbinde has commended goalkeeper Kingdom Osayi for his performance in the goalless draw against Remo Stars.

Onigbinde believed that the shot-stopper played a crucial role in securing a point for the team in Ikenne.

Kingdom Osayi was awarded Player of the Match following his superlative displays in the game.

He stressed that the team reaped the dividend of their intense preparation for the game.

“We watched some of their matches prior to the game, which we worked on and talked to the player on the tactics,” he told Media Talk Africa.

“It was a fantastic game and I will commend Osayi for his heroic performance in the game as well. He saved not less than seven clear goal-scoring chances, which kept us in the game.”

Doma United stretched their unbeaten run to six following the draw at the Remo Stars Stadium.

The Savannah Tigers currently occupy the second position on the table.
