Nollywood icon, Iyabo Ojo, has initiated legal proceedings against her fellow actress, Lizzy Anjorin, for making damaging allegations against her.
Lizzy Anjorin had taken to social media to accuse Iyabo Ojo of being romantically involved with singer Naira Marley. In addition, she made various claims about Iyabo’s daughter and her partner, Paulo.
Furthermore, Lizzy alleged that Iyabo Ojo was the mastermind behind the infamous anonymous gossip blog, Gistlover.
In response, Iyabo Ojo’s legal representative, Olumide Alake, has formally requested an apology from Lizzy Anjorin and payment of N500 million in damages.
Lizzy Anjorin has been given a 14-day ultimatum to address the lawsuit.
Taking to her Instagram page on Tuesday, Iyabo Ojo shared screenshots of the legal documents, captioning it with a pointed message: “14 days is round the corner. Saga activated.”
