Fabrizio Romano: Chelsea’s Pursuit of Gabriel Moscardo Unlikely, PSG in the Race

Renowned football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, has cast doubt on the possibility of Chelsea securing the services of Corinthians’ young talent, Gabriel Moscardo, in the upcoming January transfer window.

In a recent update, Romano clarified that there is currently no agreement in place between Chelsea and Moscardo, dampening the hopes of the midfielder making a move to Stamford Bridge anytime soon.

Speaking through his official X account on Twitter, Romano revealed, “Paris Saint-Germain remain among clubs keen on signing Gabriel Moscardo. The race is open β€” including English clubs too.

“No agreement done with Chelsea and it doesn’t look imminent with #CFC at this stage.”

Earlier reports from Brazil had suggested that Chelsea had already struck a deal with the 18-year-old prodigy. Moscardo, who made his senior debut for Corinthians in June, is highly touted as one of the most promising midfield prospects in Brazilian football.

The young midfielder has garnered attention from various European giants such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, and Chelsea, indicating the widespread recognition of his potential and talent across the continent.
