Lil Frosh Counters Yhemolee’s Defamatory Suit, Seeks N500m Damages

Renowned musician Lil Frosh has responded to the N200 million defamatory lawsuit filed against him by actor Yhemolee.

Yhemolee had recently taken legal action against Lil Frosh after the singer publicly accused him of assault.

Lil Frosh’s legal team rebuts Yhemolee’s claims, asserting that their client’s assertions are not malicious or false. They maintain that the claims are substantiated by witnesses present at the time of the alleged incident, as well as videos shared by Lil Frosh.

The response from Lil Frosh’s legal representatives dismisses the demands outlined in Yhemolee’s letter as baseless and unfounded, expressing incredulity at the extravagant nature of the claims made against their client.

In a copy of the letter posted on his Instagram page, Lil Frosh demanded a public apology and a written undertaking from Yhemolee. This undertaking would confirm that Yhemolee will refrain from threatening, assaulting, bullying, or publicly embarrassing Lil Frosh. Additionally, Lil Frosh seeks compensation amounting to N500,000,000 (Five Hundred Million Naira) as damages.

The letter also stipulates a 14-day timeframe for meeting these demands. Failure to comply would result in Lil Frosh pursuing a stringent civil suit against Yhemolee, alongside lodging a petition with the Nigeria Police Force to instigate a comprehensive investigation.
