The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has highlighted the crucial role of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups in creating wealth, employment, and economic prosperity in Nigeria.
Speaking at the opening of the ‘National SMEs/Entrepreneurship Forum for Start-ups in Emerging Technologies’ in Abuja, Ubale Maska, the Executive Commissioner of Technical Services at NCC, emphasized the significance of small businesses in driving the country’s economy forward and shaping its future.
Representing Maska, Dr Chidi Diugwu, the Head of New Media and Information Security, emphasized the forum’s role in providing a platform for startups to transform innovative concepts into reality. He stressed the importance of entrepreneurs acquiring knowledge, expanding their enterprises, and contributing to the nation’s advancement.
