Nigerian Military Ousts 180 Terrorists, Apprehends 204 in Remarkable Week

Moreover, a substantial amount of weaponry and equipment were seized, reinforcing the resolute stance of the Armed Forces against insurgent activities.

The operations further extended to the arrest of suspected ISWAP/Boko Haram terrorists in Chibok as well as the conduct of fighting patrols in several local government areas, exhibiting the unwavering dedication of the troops.

In the North West, the troops of Operations Hadarin Daji and Whirl Punch executed robust land and air offensives, decimating terrorist strongholds and ensuring the safeguarding of communities in Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, and Zamfara States. The air component’s precise interdiction operations dealt a severe blow to the bandits, significantly degrading their capacities.
