Adeyemi Opeyemi: Training with Veteran Oladosu for US Debut

Fast-rising Nigerian boxer, Adeyemi Opeyemi, is gearing up for his much-anticipated boxing debut in the United States. Training alongside the unbeaten Rilwan Oladosu at the Caicedo Sports Training Center in Miami, Florida, Opeyemi is honing his skills for the upcoming face-off against experienced Mexican boxer Ernesto Guerrero on December 8th in Orlando, Florida.

Opeyemi, at 23 years old, boasts an impressive record of nine wins in 10 fights, including seven knockouts, with just one draw. While this will mark his inaugural bout in the USA, all his previous fights have been hosted in Nigeria, with eight taking place in Lagos and two in Ibadan.

During his training in Miami, Opeyemi had the privilege of being coached by the seasoned 31-year-old Oladosu, who, despite never having fought outside Nigeria, maintains an unblemished record of 19 fights with no losses or draws. With 11 of his victories secured by knockout, Oladosu’s expertise makes him a valuable mentor for the aspiring Nigerian boxer.

Oladosu was observed using innovative techniques to guide Opeyemi, leveraging his own experience to refine the young boxer’s check-up and balancing skills. As Opeyemi prepares to confront the seasoned threat posed by Guerrero, the guidance of Oladosu, a knockout specialist, is set to be invaluable.

The experienced Mexican boxer, Guerrero, brings a wealth of experience to the ring, having fought 74 times, securing 34 victories and enduring 40 defeats. Despite Guerrero’s seasoned track record, Opeyemi’s remarkable speed and knockout technique are poised to pose a formidable challenge for the 34-year-old as he embarks on his winning debut in Florida, marking an exciting new chapter in his career as he fights under Lewis Boxing Promotions.
