Coach Offor Spurs Sporting Lagos Players to Pursue Elusive Away Victory

Sporting Lagos’ head coach, Paul Offor, is urging his players to sustain their momentum in pursuit of an elusive away win. The team recently locked horns with Abia Warriors at the Umuahia Township Stadium, culminating in a hard-fought 1-1 draw.

Despite Naibe Akpesiri’s early goal, Abia Warriors’ Paschal Nwabueze’s late strike leveled the score. Coach Offor expressed his belief that the team was on the verge of achieving their goal and vowed not to relent.

In his words, “The mission was to secure an away victory against Abia Warriors. We were so close to achieving that, but we will keep working until it comes.”

Sporting Lagos is currently positioned at the ninth spot on the NPFL table.

Coach Offor’s words serve as a rallying call for Sporting Lagos, igniting the flames of determination to conquer the formidable challenge of securing an away triumph.
