In a recent interview with Naija FM, Lagos, Oladipupo Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips, addressed the recent turmoil surrounding a death hoax orchestrated by his management. The rapper expressed deep remorse to Nigerians and his loyal fan base, emphasizing that the distressing episode was not a mere prank, but rather a result of his ailing health.

“I will never play with people’s emotions like that. It was never a prank. I was sick sick. I am really sorry for the confusion, the false alarm and everything. I take full responsibility,” Oladips solemnly conveyed.

The rapper attributed the distressing events to a lack of professional guidance, shedding light on a tumultuous period where his trust was betrayed, and his financial resources misused. “I take full responsibility. Henceforth, I will make sure that I’m surrounded by professionals. Because I feel like that is where the problem started from. I have experienced a lot of things, including my manager siphoning my money, wishing me death,” he disclosed.

Recounting the ordeal, Oladips revealed the deeply personal toll of the betrayal, mentioning that it reached a point where he had to sever ties with his manager and rely solely on his own judgment and the support of his close associates. “It was just me and my boys. Right now, I’m just trying to select the right people and make sure that they are professionals that know the right thing to do,” Oladips expressed, underscoring his determination to rebuild his support system with trustworthy individuals.

The rapper’s profound reflection on the situation culminated in a heartfelt plea for forgiveness and understanding from the public. “No be person wey because he no hear from my mum, he feel like, ‘Ah! This guy don go [die]. If he [my manager] was a professional person he would not do such. That is why I said I take full responsibility. So, I’m really sorry.
