Nollywood icon, Iyabo Ojo, has emphasized that a DNA test does not form a fundamental part of seeking justice for the departed musician, Mohbad.
Expressing her stance during a live Instagram session, the actress addressed the persistent clamor for a DNA test regarding Mohbad’s son, Liam.
In the session, she asserted her disinterest in identifying the child’s biological father, stressing that the paternity test poses a substantial distraction in the quest for justice.
“DNA was not part of our pursuit of justice for Mohbad, so it holds little significance for us. However, his father expressed the desire for a DNA test due to the distractions and narratives brought forth. He has urged for its conduction since it has been proposed.
“Alright, that’s acceptable. Nevertheless, DNA is a private family matter and holds no relevance to the quest for justice for Mohbad.”
According to Media Talk Africa, the late musician’s father, James Aloba, emphasized the necessity of a DNA test, emphasizing that it should be carried out in his presence.
