Owen Hargreaves Recommends Dominic Solanke as Potential Manchester United Signing

Former Manchester United midfielder, Owen Hargreaves, has endorsed the idea of his former club pursuing a deal for Bournemouth’s standout striker, Dominic Solanke.

Solanke has been in sensational form for Bournemouth this season, netting eight goals in the Premier League, including a crucial strike in his team’s recent 3-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Despite previous stints at Chelsea and Liverpool, where he struggled to secure a regular spot in the first team, the 26-year-old’s resurgence has not gone unnoticed. Hargreaves believes Solanke has now matured, making him a viable option for a club of Manchester United’s stature.

“I would take him at Manchester United, all day,” Hargreaves stated on Premier League Productions. “At Chelsea, he was the prized academy player. He moved to Liverpool amidst their brilliant front three. He was never going to displace them. However, I believe his time there allowed him to learn and be mentored by Firmino, Mane, and Salah. We saw a similar situation with Wilfried Zaha at Manchester United. He wasn’t prepared. He was too young.”

The recommendation from Hargreaves underscores Solanke’s potential and hints at the valuable experience he gained while at Liverpool, contributing to his current prowess on the field. Such an endorsement could spark discussions within the Manchester United camp, raising the possibility of a transfer that could reshape their attacking lineup.
