President Bola Tinubu expressed his condolences to the Ezeife family, the people, and the government of Anambra State following the demise of Chukwuemeka Ezeife, the former governor of the state. In a statement released by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, in Abuja on Friday, Tinubu mourned the loss of Mr. Ezeife, also known as Okwadike of Igbo-Ukwu, who served as governor of Anambra from 1992 to 1993.
Tinubu praised the significant impact of the late former federal permanent secretary on Nigeria’s political landscape and his exceptional leadership qualities, lamenting his passing as a sorrowful loss. Reflecting on the deceased’s contributions to shaping public discourse and governance in Nigeria, as well as laying the groundwork for the progress of Anambra State, President Tinubu highlighted the enduring legacy of the departed statesman.
