The Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria (AISN) has marked its 100th anniversary in Nigeria by inaugurating a central mosque complex in the Gwarinpa district of Abuja. The milestone event, graced by the President of AISN, Abdul Rafiu Sanni, the National Missioner, Sheikh Abdulrahman Ahmad, and other national leaders, was hailed as a monumental achievement in the history of the association in Nigeria.

Expressing gratitude for the successful completion of the N200 million mosque project, President Sanni emphasized the importance of the celebration as a means of familiarizing the local community with the presence of the mosque. Drawing parallels with the tradition of walimah (celebration) in marriage, he underscored the significance of creating awareness about the mosque within its vicinity.

Highlighting the impactful journey of Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria over the past century, Mr. Sanni emphasized the association’s role as a trailblazer in impacting humanity and the nation at large. He emphasized the need for continuous progress, stressing the importance of planning for the next century and committing to further serve humanity and propagate Islam.

In his address, Branch Chairman Abdul-Kareem Abdul-Azeez detailed that the funding for the N200 million mosque project was sourced from donations and contributions from members. He underscored the pivotal role of the mosque in serving the residents and estates in the area, emphasizing the immeasurable benefits it would bring to the community.

The inauguration, preceded by a special Jumat service, brought together Muslims from diverse backgrounds, affirming the collective significance of the event in unifying the community. It was a testament to the enduring commitment of AISN to propagate Islam and contribute to positive change in the country.

As AISN embarks on its next century, the inauguration of the mosque stands as a symbol of their continued dedication to serving humanity, shaping the propagation of Islam, and fostering positive change in Nigeria. The monumental milestone serves as a beacon of hope and progress, inspiring the pursuit of impactful endeavors for generations to come.
