New Recruits Graduate and Senior Officers Promoted at Nigeria Immigration Service

The Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, recently celebrated the graduation of 55 newly recruited officers and the promotion of 52 senior officers at its Enugu State Command. The Assistant Comptroller General, Mrs. Azuka Halliday, shared this exciting development during the passing out parade and decoration ceremony held at the Command.

The graduating class comprised 55 officers, with a balanced gender representation of 27 males and 28 females. Mrs. Halliday urged the new recruits to embrace their roles with a deep sense of patriotism, discipline, determination, selflessness, and integrity. She emphasized the privilege they hold in serving their nation and encouraged them to exhibit proactive and committed attitudes in their duties.

Highlighting the exceptional performance of the promoted officers in their previous positions, Mrs. Halliday underscored the high expectations placed on them in their new roles. She specifically called for a strong focus on border management and emphasized the importance of carrying out duties with transparency.
