In a daring escape, three out of the 11 individuals who were kidnapped in Azzara village, Kaduna State, have managed to break free from their abductors. This comes after the bandits, responsible for the abduction on December 6, reportedly fell asleep from intoxication.

The tragic incident unfolded when the bandits raided Anguwar Tudu in Azzara village, resulting in the death of a soldier and the subsequent abduction of 11 villagers.

According to reports, the escape transpired on a fateful Monday, as the abductors succumbed to their inebriation and dozed off, paving the way for the captives to seize an opportunity for freedom.

Upon confirming the escape, Danjumah Saleh, a community resident, stated that the relatives of the escaped victims had been notified of their safe return. Furthermore, he disclosed that the village head of Akilbu contacted the chief of Azzara in the early hours of the morning to convey the news of the miraculous escape.

Moreover, Saleh revealed that the escapees were promptly taken to a nearby medical facility for necessary treatment, as directed by the village head.
