Zamfara State Allocates N7.2 Billion to Complete Gusau Investment House Project

Zamfara State Government has revealed plans to allocate N7.2 billion for the completion of the Gusau Investment House project. Abdurrahman Tumbido, the State Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, and Tourism, disclosed this in Gusau while addressing the media after defending the 2024 ministry’s budget at the State House of Assembly.

Governor Dauda Lawal presented a N423.5 billion Appropriation Bill for the 2024 fiscal year. The unfinished 10-storey investment house project was initiated during the tenure of former Governor Mahmud Shinkafi.

Tumbido emphasized that the project is part of the state’s proposed N17 billion budget, which includes various development projects. Other major projects in the budget entail the completion of the Gusau hotel project, reconstruction of the Gusau old market, and modernizing the Gusau Central market, among others.
